Q: What is the Process of a Bathroom Renovation?

Stage 1: Skip bin is delivered on site, The removal of any wall and floor tiles, old shower screen, bath, vanity cabinet, floor waste fittings, tap fittings, towel rail, and mirror.

Stage 2: Preparation of wall and floor surfaces to be tiled including the screed for the floor, rendering for walls, and waterproof membrane for the shower area as per Australian tiling standards.

Stage 3: The new wall and floor tiles are fixed and grouted, in addition to any new waste fittings

Stage 4: finally the plumbing fixtures and fittings are fitted into the bathroom


Q: Can I supply my own materials?

A: If you wish to supply your own materials such as wall and floor tiles, plumbing fixtures and fittings, this can be incorporated into the build. Most of our clients do choose for Fair and Square to supply and deliver wall and floor tiles, plumbing fixtures and fittings, etc.


Q: Can I do all of the removal myself? 

A: This can be allowed for if you wish to conduct your own removal. When receiving a quote from us, we are happy to itemise the cost of removal, separate from the total cost in order for a final decision to be made about removal.


Q: How long does a bathroom renovation take?

A: While there are a number of factors that will alter the length of your bathroom renovation process, an average bathroom renovation timeline will be roughly 2-3 weeks.
